Early Morning Snuggles

Augustine came upstairs earlier than usual, crying but unsure of what he needed. After settling on the couch, and asking nicely for some “bekfras,” he proceeded to cheerfully devour a piece of banana bread and a glass of water, chatting away about different ways he wanted to surprise his daddy, all of which involved cleaning up the office.

Now he’s sleeping peacefully on the couch, curled up with his head resting on Curious George, or “Yow-Yow,” and breathing the deep breath of delightful sleep. Clearly, he just needed a “midnight” snack.
