No Sugar November Follow Up
Well, I succeeded pretty well with making it to Thanksgiving without eating any major sweets, though I did cheat a few times with a handful of chocolate chips or chocolate syrup in my coffee. š¦
The kicker though, was that I was supposed to stop at one piece of pie. I did not. I definitely got my one piece on Thanksgiving day, then I had a second piece at lunch the following day, followed by two more pieces over the weekend. Thus, itās the second week of December, with Christmas goodies promising to be amazing, and I have to once again declare a war on sugar so that I can actually enjoy a brownie or three.
Itās a good thing stores donāt display Christmas goodies. Oh, wait! Itās utterly ridiculous how much temptation I am faced with every time I run errands, not to mention the still-several-pounds of Halloween candy in the pantry that stares me in the face every time I open the door. Good thing thatās not mine and we have a strict policy on private property around here!!
No sugar December is going to be even more challenging than November, but I am determined to make a new start so that I can enjoy a few sweets without losing the progress I have made.
