Sourdough Starter and Mondays
The morning got a kick start just before 5:30 when I woke up before my alarm. This happens every now and then, and I decided to take advantage of the extra few minutes to make coffee and read my biography of Theodore Roosevelt.
By 6:30 I had fed the baby, done a ten minute workout, tidied a few things and started breakfast. I won’t bore you with the minute to minute details, but let’s just say that we, as a family unit, crushed it.
In terms of a Done List, today we:
Completed Independent Bible Reading, Prayer time, Story time and started a new section of history.
Stayed on top of dishes and kitchen cleanup, tidied the house, organized the hand-me-downs, cleaned a bathroom, cleaned the garage and took out the trash.
Had a 75% successfully rate at completing Math and a 100% success rate at completing Language lessons and reading.
Cooked dinner, without burning the entree (which happened last week when I made this particular meal) and watched as the kids single-handedly cleared the table, swept the floor and loaded the dishwasher.
Finally, I started a new sourdough starter using my fancy glysophate free flour and I’m looking forward to seeing if this will turn out.
Once the baby is in bed I plan to watch some TV while cross stitching.
