Thunderstorms

One of my favorite things to do is wake up to thunderstorms, listening to the deluge of rain coming down, lazing in bed. Which I got to do! However, this thunderstorm has been going on for nearly an hour already and does not promise to let up.
I‘m ready to get dressed and get breakfast, but a couple of yards of wide open space separates me from the family kitchen on this adventure. I shall have to make a dash for it. Well, once my sleeping baby wakes up. I was not in a hurry for that before.
